excellent game!

nice relaxing zen type of game. love it!

Mildly Dissapointed

Fun for a day!...Then I realized I had wasted $10. Dont get me wrong, this is still an entertaining game; just not for the price they are asking. Id say 2.99 would be a price more suitable for a game consisting of sucking up smaller bubbles. Earlier reviews rave over this games "stunning graphics" which really are good, especially when hooked up to a HDTV! The gameplay is simple yet entertaining. This being said, I would not recommend purchasing this game unless you have the extra flow to blow. Im not dissing the game itself, because it really is satisfying (yet frustrating). Just saying, cut the price in half and youll sell it 4 times as much. Bottom Line: Would not buy again simply because I felt it didnt live up to the price tag.

A nice tranquil game

Reminds me a little of Tranquility from tqworld (sadly closed their servers in 2010). A game you can both relax with, and be challenged by. Wish there were more levels and different challenges. A nice break from blasting zombie hordes.

dont like it

what is so fun about this game seriously its boring and very expensive i want my money back

Awesome

The best game I have played on my Mac or my Ipod. <yes, thats a period .

So Fun To Own...So Difficult To Understand

I got this game when it was on sale for $0.99 (it was $9.99, i think, when it first got added to the store). This game is REALLY DIFFICULT (which makes it ridiculously fun). However, It is REALLY DIFFICULT to get instructions. It literally took me 10 minutes to figure out how to exit. Come on Hemisphere Games, make the instructions and menu user friendly.

great app

i was scepticle about the price being 10 bucks but i took a chance and got it anyways...looks great, playes great, chalenging, great sound. decent amount of levels. cool affects. honistly i dont think there is anything bad about the game. im going to have to say this is the best app iv ever got. i got a civilazation 5 for 50 dollars and i like osmos better. civilazation is a great game and all but this is the best arcade game iv ever seen. spend the 10 lousy dollars and try it out for yourself....easy 5 stars

Nothing more than Asteroids!

Started out cool - then became more arcade than puzzle. Not interested in playing a new version of asteroids... I wished I knew that before spending $10. Hope this helps someone.

PURELY DAZZLING!

This game is a very ingenious way of putting the user "into the world of Osmos" to become the largest mote. Its simple, but yet intricate at the same time. And very hard! It keeps me entertained for hours. I would reccomend this to everyone!

Just get this

Just get this its fantastic

Visually Stunning

Looks great, but quickly becomes far too hard and frustrating. Its designed to be relaxing but after 15-20 levels they run out of ideas and just increase the difficulty without improving the gameplay. Quite lazy, way too hard.

awsome game

I read reviews and figured what the heck let me try it and now im hooked....lol

Very relaxing with just the right level of challenge.

This game will keep you hunting for the next level. There is just enough variation to keep it interesting. The gameplay is simple and very intuitive. As others have said, the beautiful visuals and soothing music keep you focused instead of being distracting like the overwrought visuals of so many other games. Highly recommended for $5.

Its alright

I liked it at first but havent playe it since the firt day i bought it, not as much fun as i was expecting def. better games out there

Most beautiful computer game Ive seen!

This game has to have some of the best HD graphics Ive seen in a downloadable game. Flawless gameplay, ambient mood, and challenging objectives make this perfect for anyone! Well worth the ten dollars.

Beautiful Game

Osmos is a beautiful game with simplistic gameplay. The game looks amazing on the Mac with vibrant colors that pop.

Incredibly Addictive!

This game is extremely well designed. The graphics are amazing and the game play really draws you in. It is a very ingenious concept that is unique; unlike any other Ive played.

A beautiful game!

A gorgeous game, that will challenge and enthrall you from the very start. I sat down to play this game for the first time and soon found that I had been at it for over two hours. The thing I find most fascinating and challenging about the game, is how well Hemishere incorporated Newtons laws of motion into how the orb you control moves during the game play. At first you will find it rather tricky to control your orb, but as they say, "practice makes perfect!" The music has a very calming effect as your frustrations build trying to maneuver your orb, called a Mote, around abosorbing smaller motes so your mote will grow. The music soothes away the ire that comes when your mote is eaten by a larger mote, and in general is just very pleasent to listen to on its own. I would say this a must have game for anyone, and the $9.99 price tag is very very reasonable. They should be charging at least $10.00!!! LOL

Meditative and Challenging

This is a game I like to play late at night when things are quiet. Like so many excellent games, the concept is extremely simple but the actual gameplay requires thought and strategy. For all its simplicity it manages to come up with multiple different modes that each present their own challenges.Add to that the fact that its beautiful to look at, and you have a real winner.

Anyone obsessed with SCIENCE or the UNIVERSE...MUST HAVE!

This game is seriously ridiculous!!! Ridiculous in a VERY AWESOME WAY. WOW, I wish I would have invented this game. There should be a game like this for EVERY MATHEMATICAL/SCIENTIFIC application with the actual equations present that make the physical motion or action happen in every mathematical and scientific medium possible. EVEN THEORETICAL PHYSICS...seriously folks...WELL WORTH THE 10 bucks!!! THANK YOU GAME MAKERS!!! I only wish I could do this somehow on a projector with the ipad for the control or droid/ iphone for the controls...
